I wanted to try a darker roast today, so I went with the Honduras Comicoval from Dapper & Wise Roasters. This cup was definitely thicker and darker, but still with a soft and smooth mouthfeel. Even though it was a darker roast it didn’t sit on the tongue heavy and stayed very smooth through each sip. One thing that did stick out was a very fruity after taste. Nothing super memorable about the beans, but still a nice morning cup of coffee!...

The offical first coffee of Bean Box 2023! This was a great bag to start on. The mouthfeel was light and smooth, and was setting it’s self up as a great morning drink. I immediately got sweetness at the beginning, and a nutty finish at the end of the drink, but the sweetness dominated the flavor throughout. If was almost floral tasting, which I actually quite enjoyed! Overall it was a very nice light cup of coffee, that had no bitter or acidic qualities, which made it a great morning drink!...
